Family Pledge Drive

 

The Deerfield Elementary PTA Annual Pledge Drive campaign benefiting the 2023-2024 school year wrapped up on 9/30/23.  We just barely reached our $25,000 goal to support all school field trips, assemblies and family fun activities.   

 

Even though the drive is complete, you can still donate.  The Deerfield PTA supports school programs and events impacting ALL of our students.  Donating means you are providing financial support to all the instructional tools, programs, and events your children will enjoy and experience here at school.  These funds help to maintain academic success and enrichment in order to support the students and staff. 

 

With each pledge, we have included ONE PTA Membership. Being a member means you are part of a child advocacy organization that gives us a voice when speaking to our legislative representatives in Sacramento and Washington D.C. for education policy.  All are welcome to attend PTA meetings, however members have voting rights.  Anyone can be a member!!  Deerfield Parents, Grandparents, extended family, faculty, community members and more.  For more member details, check out our "Join PTA" page.

 

 

Don't see the pledge form?  You can make a direct donation, by dropping off cash or check (made payable to Deerfield Elementary PTA) to the front office.

Did you know?

Irvine Unified School District is one of the lowest funded districts in the country?  I know, it's hard to believe but true.  As parents, we have chosen one of the best locations for schools, yet its programs require groups like this PTA and IPSF to fund the programs that make us so amazing.

 

With the state and district receiving less funds, Deerfield PTA steps in to raise money through membership, donations and fundraising activities to support vital programs, classroom supplies, technology, and family fun events.

Make a Pledge today!

As a non-profit organization, you can receive tax write offs for any pledge or direct donation to the Deerfield Elementary PTA.  All pledge levels will be recognized on our donors page.

Does Your Employer Match?

Many companies sponsor matching gift programs and will donate to the PTA, at no additional cost to you.  It’s free money!  All you need to do is apply.

 

When can I apply?

You can apply after you donate to our Deerfield Elementary School PTA school.  PTA membership fees are excluded from this program.

How do I apply?

If your employer offers corporate matching, follow these steps and apply for a match today! 

  1. Make your donation to Deerfield PTA. This is any donation made to PTA or the school, excluding membership fees. 

  2. Request a matching gift application (online) through your employer’s HR benefits department.   

  3. Follow the instructions on your employer’s matching application, referencing the following details about your donation:

How do I ensure that my matching donation gets to the right organization?

For most employer systems, the easiest way to find the PTA is to search for our tax payer ID (EIN 33-0254434). The organization will either be listed as “Deerfield Elementary PTA” or in some systems may come up as “PTA California Congress of Parents, Teachers, and Students.” This is the umbrella organization for all PTAs in California.
